You will receive a pack of 1000 Organic German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) seeds, or a minimum of 0.1 grams. German Chamomile is native to parts of southern and eastern Europe as well as Asia. Its fragrant flowers are used for a variety of purposes, such as a tea herb and a component of fragrances, oils, and decor. An annual plant, chamomile spreads via reseeding, so be sure to let a few flowers remain on the plant if you wish for it to return in subsequent seasons. Plants thrive in a variety of well-drained soil types but require full sun to flourish. Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, pressing seeds onto the soil surface. Do not cover, as chamomile seeds require light in order to germinate. Keep soil moist and seeds should emerge in 10-14 days. Chamomile seeds germinate best when nights are cool (68 F), and days are warm (86 F). Mature plants should be spaced roughly 18 inches apart. Plants flower 60-65 days after seeding.
