You will receive 0.5 grams (approximately 500 seeds) of organic mullein (Verbascum thapsus) seeds.  This plant produces a rosette of fuzzy leaves in its first year, and tall stalks of yellow flowers in subsequent years. Intolerant of shade and prefers dry soils. Reaches a spread of up to 3 feet and a height of 6-7 feet. Choose planting site carefully, as mullein produces abundant long-lived seeds and may become a nuisance in small gardens. Mullein seeds require 4-6 weeks of cold stratification in order to germinate, so are best direct-sown outdoors in the fall or stored in the refrigerator until spring. Start indoors 6 weeks before the last frost. Seeds require light to germinate and should emerge in approximately two weeks when pressed lightly into the surface of well-drained soil and kept moist. Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed.
